Mardi Gras 2014 is Tuesday, march 4
Pensacola’s Mardi Gras features a broad selection of events, but the main attractions at this Mardi Gras are the three big parades which boast nearly 200 floats from 100 krewes and parading organizations.
Along with beads, cups, stuffed animals and commemorative coins, MoonPies (chocolate covered cake/cookie sandwiches with marshmallow in the middle) are popular Mardi Gras favors in Pensacola.
